Graphic Design
These are some of the creative works that I would like to feature in terms of graphic design.
Instagram Posts (Bruno Mars)
At the start of my pursuing in the Diploma of Media Production and Design, I learnt how to create designs such as Instagram posts and Carousel posts on Adobe Photoshop to promote various artists or products. One of the few designs I created was to promote Bruno Mars.
Other types of Promotional Posters
I've also created other types of posters that bring a message to the audience, be it through promotions of food or even a PSA flyer talking about climate change. This shows that I try to use colours that really works well with each other and makes the main idea stand out.
My Website Designs
I've created two website designs during my module of Design for Interactive Media and recreated two websites from scratch for both DOPA DOPA and Willing Hearts through the use of AdobeXD. These designs are created by me to allow the viewers to understand the website more due to how organised and easy it is to absorb information through the contrasting colours or simple fonts.
Card Designs
I've created various card designs as part of my school assignment, using Freepik to use their assets while creating my own vectors to incorporate into the design.
"Weekender" magazine design
I've created magazine designs in my Colour and Typography module to implement colour schemes that match well with one another and making the content readable and organised.
My thinking process (How I develop my works)
I would usually start off with mood boards and research to gain inspiration on how my design will be executed.
Afterward, I will put my ideas onto paper by coming up with various sketches.
I will then create mockups and an initial design to start off and see whether it actually comes together or not.
I will get feedback from the people around me and especially my lecturers so that I can see what is there to improve on and touch up on my work if i have to
An example of this would be the image on the left, showcasing a design I had to make with just one chosen font itself. After seeking feedback from my lecturer, I modified my work to make it look more spread out and balanced.
